Looking Back on the Beauty Trade Special – What a Success!
The Beauty Trade Special 2025 has passed, and what an experience it was! This was the very first time we presented our beautiful company Seductionail® and brand Seduce® at the fair, and we are so proud of everything we have achieved. The past months were a rollercoaster full of blood, sweat, and tears, because everything you saw at the fair was thought up and built by ourselves.
A big round of applause for construction company J. van der Sloot, who made this stand possible with hours of craftsmanship and dedication. Thanks to his hard work, we were able to create a stand we are extremely proud of!
The Setup – From Idea to Reality
On March 5th, the construction of our stand began at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Gerard worked tirelessly for days to make everything perfect. On Friday, Romina joined to finish the last details: setting up displays, arranging products, and decorating the stand. The end result? Beyond expectations! After a long day, we went home tired but proud, to spend some time with our families before the big days began.
Saturday, March 8 – The First Day of the Fair
And finally, the day had come! On Saturday, March 8, the fair opened at 10:00 AM, and all our ambassadors were ready by 9:00 AM to make the final preparations. We discussed who would be where, how everything worked, and went in with full enthusiasm. It was exciting, because among the big brands it felt like a challenge to claim our place as newcomers.
At 10:00 AM, Romina started with a Babyboom demo with Acrylic gel. What she had dreamed the night before became reality: by 10:30 AM our stand was full! Ladies were everywhere admiring our brand, testing products, and watching demos. This was the moment we truly saw how much Seduce® has grown over the past five years.
Our ambassadors had never worked together so intensively, but it felt like a well-oiled machine. Everyone was in sync, and everything ran smoothly. Throughout the day there were various demos, such as the Marble Master Ink demo by Dheyna from @djpbeauty and the One Stroke flower demo by Tiffany from @nailsattiffanysgoes.
At 5:00 PM day one was over. We celebrated this with loud music, singing at the top of our lungs “Where I truly belong.. by Yves Berendse” – because that’s how it felt, all together. With big smiles, Gerard and Romina went to the hotel to reflect on the day. But... there was nothing to criticize. Everything went perfectly.
Sunday, March 9 – Full of Energy to Keep Going!
On Sunday, all ambassadors were ready again with full energy. Daisy @nail_exclusives welcomed visitors in our Seduce® mascot costume, while handing out air fresheners and flyers. Did you see her?
This day was busy again, and we had to work with three fewer ladies, so it was a bit of a push. Luckily, everything went smoothly again. We gave demos on shape correction and other techniques, presented by Wendy from @beautybywenn. This day also ended with a bang – singing and dancing, as you are used to from us!
Monday, March 10 – The Final Push
Monday began with everyone exhausted but satisfied. Running a fair is hard work! This time many students from beauty schools came in, which gave a completely different atmosphere. The day was quieter, but we didn’t mind at all. A chance to catch our breath and enjoy everything we had achieved. The day goes much faster when you just keep going at full speed.
Around 4:30 PM we slowly started to take down the stand. This went again like a well-oiled machine. In between, of course, we danced and sang again, giving out our last bit of energy as a team. It went so fast: by 7:30 PM the truck was already at the door to bring a large part back to the company. The next day we picked up the last items, and once back it felt like a holiday was over – back to reality!
Grateful and Proud
Still recovering from this incredible success, I write this blog with a heart full of gratitude. Grateful for our ambassadors who worked so hard. Grateful for Sanne from @lacca.nl for the wonderful support. Grateful for our loyal customers who came especially to visit us. And of course, grateful for all the new customers who are now testing our beautiful products!
